As the world's largest ski valley, the Zillertal has 179 state-of-the-art lift facilities that transport you quickly and comfortably from 580m to 3,250m above sea level.

The right challenge for every taste is offered by 515 perfectly groomed piste kilometers – ranging from challenging, sporty descents and untracked powder slopes to sunny, wide carving slopes for families, beginners and connoisseurs.

But that's not all: Snowboard fun parks, permanent racing and speed tracks, ski kindergartens as well as numerous cozy ski huts and beautifully located mountain restaurants with sun terraces ensure enthusiasm among all guests.

Cross-Country Skiing in the Zillertal

Athletic activity in the great outdoors - cross-country skiing clears the head and challenges the whole body. Over 125 trail kilometers in different difficulty levels allow you to learn classic cross-country skiing or skating.

Tobogganing Fun

In the winter paradise Zillertal, a toboggan run is the ideal family outing and an experience that delights young and old - in short, an absolute must in every winter holiday! On foot or with the mountain railway you go up, then follows a rapid ride down into the valley - this is how tobogganing is really fun. You'll find 14 perfectly prepared toboggan runs with a total length of approx. 45 kilometers in the Zillertal. 30 km of them are even illuminated in the evenings, so nothing stands in the way of exciting night tobogganing!

Snowshoe Hiking

Using your own power, it's all about experiencing quiet side valleys with untouched mountains and peaks. Guided snowshoe tours including rental options for the sports equipment are offered by numerous ski and alpine schools in the valley.

Ice Skating

Ice skating is not only always a huge pleasure for children. Anyone who glides over mirror-smooth ice on sharply sharpened skates feels like an ice prince or ice princess. In the Zillertal, a total of 9 natural and artificial ice skating rinks invite you to go ice skating.

Indoor Pool at Adventure Pool Mayrhofen

Jump into the pleasantly warm water - on cold winter days, the indoor pool of the Adventure Pool Mayrhofen in the Zillertal is just the right thing to warm up and recharge. On 300 m² water surface you can relax, warm up, bathe and feel good in the approx. 31°C warm water. An air bubble pool and various water attractions (torrent, waterfall, neck showers, massage jets, whirlpool air lounger) provide additional fun and variety. The giant slide with 101m makes small and big hearts beat faster. In the "Crazy River", a 65m long tube slide, it's fun.
